Amen brother! Some of the best things about all of this is meeting good, God-loving neighbors and patriots like you and the countless people who've leave indelible impressions upon us for good. You speak truth in a to way some may find hard to accept. But without those the Lord has placed in each time with such a gift from Him, we'd be like sheep without a shepherd wandering among wolves who'd love nothing more to tear us apart and devour us.

It's best we each pause when we hear what may seem hard at first to see if what God's messenger is saying is for us. "Test everything. Hold onto what is good." Most everything I've read that you've written is good and we need to listen to. Then give thanks to the One over all who not only loves us and laid down His life for us... but also loves us enough to correct and encourage us. He knows we are all weak in some ways, but He is strong and our Defender. We don't need to be afraid.

Anyway, thank you for what you write and do, Chris.

Thank you Chris for your encouraging words and endless fight. I have met so many great patriots over the last year who are standing their ground and standing up for what is right. Come Wednesday we must continue to fight for what is good, right and just. We cannot let our guard down.

Chris, I love your posts but question your statement: "“No matter what happens, it is God’s will”. 2 Peter 3:9 NLT says "The Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent." So from that verse, it's God's will that everyone would repent. But will all repent? I believe the Bible says "no".

In order to stave off fear and anxiety (to use your words), I think of Romans 8:28 "And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them."

I do appreciate the conversation Steve.

The 2nd verse bolsters my point in that "God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love Him". God understands, I think, that most of His creation does not truly love Him, and therefore will never repent.

This is a stepping stone to understanding God's sovereignty. A difficult one, to be sure, but true.

Whatever happens, throughout all of God's creation, is allowed by Him. He is not powerless to stop it.

Even sin & rebellion.

This is why we should pray that He restrain our sinful nature.
